Sean is a Chartered Loss Adjuster and a Chartered Surveyor (Fine Arts and Chattels division).

As a Chartered Arts and Antiques Surveyor, Sean has been involved in the High Net Worth, Fine Art and Antiques market for over twenty five years.

Sean left college in Southampton and took up a position with Phillips Auctioneers (now Bonham’s) in Bond Street, London.

Sean commenced his loss adjusting career in 1992 with Brocklehurst and joined their City office.  Over the following three years, he dealt with a wide variety of commercial property and High Net Worth claims as well as handling fine art losses.

In 1995 Sean joined Ellis & Buckle (who then merged with Cunningham Lindsey) where he dealt with a variety of commercial and specialist accounts on behalf of several Insurers and Underwriters.  Sean also set up and was responsible for several specialist claims teams in Cardiff.

In 2007 Sean established Cunningham Lindsey’s Private Client Services division from their City office.  In this role Sean was responsible for key High Net Worth Insurer clients and for the control of the day to day quality and technical performance of the team that specialised in the complex and sensitive requirements of these claims.  Sean also continued as a working adjuster, handling high value and complex private client and specie claims.
Sean has considerable experience in handling losses involving historic houses and estates along with VIP policyholders, Jewellers Block, Antiques trades, collection and other commercial fine art risks.

Sean joined Criterion in early 2013 to provide further support for the company’s existing business and to strengthen the range of expertise.
